This is one of the only pictures from our 7th legal wedding anniversary last year. The night was less than ideal. The restaurant was super loud and obnoxious, the service was really unfriendly (they wouldn't even take a picture of us) and I was violently ill and nauseous from a new medication I was on. But we were able to have a small celebration anyway. I'm happy to have this terrible selfie to remind me that we still took time to celebrate our love. It's those little moments like this that I count myself loved and lucky to have found someone. So we're hoping our small celebration will go better tomorrow as we start our 8th year of marriage.
