Is The Scientist like the stitchpunks's dad

I don’t know whether the Scientist was meant to be their dad or not in cannon, since we don’t see much of him. And as for the soul thing, I also don’t know.

But I do have headcanons on what I think their relationship is, it looks something like this.

I hc that since the Stitchpunks don’t have any biological relation to each other (except 3 and 4), what they consider ‘a parent’ is just someone who takes a parental role in another Stitchpunk’s life. I don’t headcanon the scientist as being considered a parent because of this. None of them knew the scientist for nearly as long as they knew each other. So despite the Scientist bringing them to life, he never had the opportunity to become (or stay) a parental figure to any of them.

Hi Stitchpunks and Human!reader hcs!

~MUSIC~ These dudes LOVE music! When you live on a huge dead planet and there's nothing to do in the evening, music is an obvious answer They will listen to pretty much anything and everything. If you play an instrument, (yes singing counts), they'd LOVE to hear it! They've even made their own instruments before! They sounded very interesting.

SO GLAD ME (((AND A FRIEND OF MINE WHO DOESN'T HAVE TUMBLR TO MY KNOWLADGE))) ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES LEFT IN THIS FANDOM AND I'M SO GLAD MOST OF US AGREE ON THINGS <3 so yeah how bout this Stitchpunk and Human!reader hcs So for whatever reason, it's now night time and it's time to wind down and go to bed. But tbh, it feels like a whole ass sleep over. *Ya'll started the night trying to wind down, but it was hard considering all the things you guys did that day. Good or bad, it was fresh in your minds and kept you wide awake. *at around eight pm, you where starting to try and wind down, but this was when 5 and 9 started telling dumb jokes. Not wanting you to feel left out, they wrote a few out for you and then the twins started acting things out, making you laugh even more! *then 1 came out and told ya'll to quiet down.... *....but uh......WHY ARE THINGS SO FUNNY WHEN YOU KNOW YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE LAUGHING??!?!?? *you all looked at each other as soon as he left the room and the ROAR OF LAUGHTER (mostly from you because, again, their voices are too high for people to hear) *nine pm rolled around, you all eventually wound down for a bit. Everyone started sharing stories. The twins projected a few pictures for you so you knew what the fuck was going on. *and that got you guys hyped, especially that story about that one time 6 got himself stuck in a jar and accidentally rolled down a hill... *he did look a bit embarrassed when that one came up...but he laughed *next thing you knew, ten pm rolled around, but nobody wanted to sleep. Instead, you wandered outside. NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG, OUTSIDE ON THAT PLANET IS DANGEROUS but you didn't stray far from the church and payed attention to your surroundings....while goofing off, of course. *you know what, it was prob. a good thing that you where outside. 1 didn't hear you guys. *then you heard some scary noises and came back inside *at eleven pm, you where all chill and laying down, just ready to go to bed....... *and then you all started thinking of funny jokes and any remnant of drowsiness was rendered non-existent *this was also the night you realized 2 is a VERy heavy sleeper- *throughout the night, you all continued to mess around, try and fail to hold back laugher, and pull small pranks on each other until finally you all passed out around dusk *that night (between midnight and when ya'll fell asleep) was mostly a blur, but it was also hilarious. *despite the language barrier (well, actually it's more like a hearing barrier???), ya'll bonded a lot and it was very sweet <3

headcanon: 5 sings to calm himself down sometimes as a bit of a coping mechanism, and he's actually got a really nice voice, but he only does it when he thinks no one is watching, by himself

unfortunately for him, everything is so quiet that he can usually be heard and 2 and 6 both know and it makes them smile because he's actively trying to calm down rather than wallowing in sadness

(and considering john c reilly can actually sing and sing WELL, its not so far fetched a headcanon)
