        it took a while at first, his first instincts being to WITHHOLD an honest answer, much like he has for most of his life ( a habit he knows he should get rid of )– but deciding against it after a moments hesitation. a deep breath, a hefty sigh. he trusted the other with his life, it should only be just that he should trust him with his concerns as well, right ? ( after all they’ve been through together, it would’ve been hard NOT to trust him with this much ). 

         – ❝ … i can’t help but be AFRAID for her safety. ❞ there was no need to specify, sure that kuniaki would know who he was talking about. another beat of silence, taking a moment to collect his thoughts, uncomfortable with his own vulnerability. ❝ sometimes i grow afraid i’m not enough to protect her. ❞ though as reassuring as it was to know that they were no longer alone, it didn’t change the fact that both of them had been taken, not once, but TWICE– & as long as they had their powers, there was nothing to say it wouldn’t happen again. as confident as he was of their current security & relatively stable life, unfounded WORRY still somehow managed to leak its way into his heart.

Internally, he was absolutely kicking himself for letting his guard down so much, that he could just be so casually bumped into in public - but, at least none of that was getting to the surface. He was all smiles.

“Are you all right? I’m not keeping you from anything?”

“i just feel bad..” she bows slightly and smiles back at the other. she wasn’t hurt or anything. however, she felt bad that she wasn’t paying attention and bumping into a new friend, “i’m alright, you’re alright yourself yes?” she shakes her head, “no of course not! did you have something planned?”

//I do like to attempt to write out Momotaro’s accent and stutters, although that has gotten on some bad sides ;; But to clarify publicly, I’ve been basing his speech style off my parents (who have mangled words and often asked me for English equivalents of Vietnamese terms) and listening to Japanese media, at least anime, songs, and some videos (Cooking with Dog, Tofu-chan, Juns Kitchen, Erold Story...). Accents are a funky thing to deal with...

//And there be folks who know more than one language have ended up mixing the languages with each other! It’s a thing I’m guilty of, now becoming a bit of a trilingualist (though I’m still working on Japanese...Vietnamese is pretty basic...) ...Although I think my English is not superb and I find myself mangling words and having to repeat words to get them right.

13. how much pain can your muse withstand? for how long?

      for a human, he has a high pain tolerance. of course, he won’t be quiet if you sever a part of his body but he’ll be quiet most of the times when it comes to punching, cutting, etc. being in constant pain isn’t something he’s rather comfortable with, so he’ll try to take care of it rather quickly with medications, as it’d slow his hunting and his cooking down. however, if he’s in a situation where medications isn’t available, he’d probably withstand about two to three days in severe pain.

15. how often does your muse cry? do they view it as weakness?

      he seldom cries and does not view that as a weakness. he simply doesn’t have many motives to cry and for him, is just a way of expressing feelings / emotions that are overwhelming to one person. he’s quite a pragmatic person.
