As a mentally ill person, I have done my fair share of research when searching for an emotional support animal. So watching this deleted scene, I thought of two things:

Nick sees Judy as his therapy animal (although will not admit it)

Rabbits are seen as an option for emotional support animals irl (trust me, I thought about it during my first year at college - pre-cat of course). Based on Judy's reaction, I wonder if it is seen offensive to some extent to assume all rabbits are therapy animals and how many of them are in the therapy profession.

Either way, I wish this part of their argument ended up in the final cut bc of how funny it was.
