This is Salvia (named after texas sage) the mourning dove harpy/witch/cowboy
He likes to talk in cowboy riddles, his favorite being “He’s on a first-name basis with the bottom of the deck.” (translation: he’s untrustworthy)

His name is Cicero, and his little pet is a trilobyte beetle/dog thing named sweet potato (sp for short maybe?) and she's so silly. imagine the personalities of a labrador retriever and an orange cat mixed together and were in a bug :D

Spidersona based on a spider nebula, with colors from the redback spider, and costume elements from jesters and stuff. Hero name is Pulsar bc of the nebula, jester stuff bc I'm gay, and colors from the redback bc that's one of the types of spider nebulas!!!
And and and on the front of the suit there's a simplified silhouette of a redback spider, and then on the back there's a larger/more detailed one, with the much smaller silhouette of a male redback!! It's too late for me to design this rn, but I'm going on a roadtrip tomorrow so I'm gonna try to flesh it out more then.
Original SUPER messy sketches in a journal, pre-jester idea. I'm thinking big jester hat (sun silhouette??) And a small frilly collar (small for range of movement/comfort). Maybe a little cropped jacket with big sleeves, a little hip frill, and silly shoes. I think the mask is gonna be the hardest part to design, because I'm not sure how much coverage i want it to have, if i want it to be open at all, or if i should just want to keep it simple and let the rest of the outfit speak for itself.
Ok now that I'm thinking ab the mask, i think i want the nose down to be uncovered to allow for maximum big goofy smiling. Like, imagine you're a petty criminal, and you hear jingling out of nowhere and some fuckin clown drops down in front of you with a full on joker grin??? UGH my brain is so big. I hope my subconscious will cooperate and give me a spider dream. Or at least a dream i can remember
