1. How did you get the name DrownMili?
DrownMili represents me internally. The concept of being overcome by something bigger than you. My whole life i’ve been searching for clarity in this fucked up world. The meaning and the significance of being a mortal. It all means a lot to me.
2. When did you first get into making music and who inspired you?
i first started making music when I was 12. I met my groupmate BurnKas in middle school and he told me he wanted to start a rap group and from there we started. My main inspirations are Pharrell, Tyler The Creator, GG ALLIN, Kurt Cobain & Kanye West. They all taught me how to by my self with no regrets and how to create your own reality and live in it proudly.
3. Where did you grow up and how would you describe your upbringing?
I was born and raised in Long Island NY. My parents were separated and I grew up a single child with my mother. I was typically a loner until I found my group of friends.I was smart as fuck in school, but i was too rebellious to be a nerd and to weird to be cool.
4. Who is your favorite producer to work with right now and why?
PurpDogg is my favorite producer rn. His beats go hand & hand with my style. expect a lot of shit from us
5. Where do you see yourself in ten years and why?
in 10 years i see myself as an established artist, helping and guiding the youth. I want to start a label or some outlet for the new wave. after my flames done i want to start more fires you feel me?
