Portrait from the 99DANCERS project: Cristiano.
And this portrait from the 99DANCERS project shows the youngest dancer I have portrayed. A double exposure for a change.
Another portrait from the 99DANCERS project, a bit different one. [portrait16/martin] This dancer developed dance workshops with his partner for people that suffer from Parkinson’s disease, partly because he has to cope with it himself. Dancing is in fact very beneficial for the motoric abilities of people with Parkinson’s disease, as it is for everyone with a body… Another reason to be passionate about dance and to dance!
From the 99DANCERS series, a new portrait of a dancer: Giovanni
The next couple of months I’m going to portray many different dancers that I have met over the years… That is, I am going to ask the dancers that somehow got stuck in my memory if I can portray them and hopefully they will share my enthusiasm. Here is a test shoot I did with my dancing friend Miroljuba. The setup consists of just one hot light with filtered day light and a black or grey background.
An in-between moment...
