After several days of incredible Spanish food, we needed a little Asian break and luckily, @anantaramarbella has @99sushibar in the golf club which is adjacent to the hotel. . #99sushibar is a Japanese restaurant with several other locations in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Abu Dhabi and soon you open in Dubai. . We had a wonderful dinner on the terrace with a view of the golf course, the lake and the sea. . Warm edamame was served while we scanned the menus. An amuse bouche of salmon and avocado in tofu skin roll was served with our cold glass of white from @marquesderiscal . We chose mostly raw fish for our dinner: a generous sashimi platter with toro, tuna, salmon, yellowtail, butter fish, squid, scallops and sweet shrimp. The fish was super fresh with the sweet scallops, shrimp and fatty tuna - extraordinary. . We then shared two rolls: spicy tuna and avocado with crispy rice and salmon and yellowtail nigiri. Portions are generous so we had ordered a dragon roll and cancelled it as we still had a main course of robata lamb chops with boletus mushrooms. . Dinner was a pleasant surprise and gave us the Japanese fix we needed.
