Nine Years of Alice

I recently watched the Alice in Wonderfilm live, all the way through. I watched that, after watching their recent 9th Anniversary live yesterday. And I have to say, for a band that I love and admire so much for, that I am so happy that I am a Number Six.

Messages to the Members:

Hiroto: You are a sweet and caring man, not only towards your own friends and family, but to the fans of Alice Nine. When I first saw you, I thought you came off a little arrogant and a little spoiled. That image vanished when I saw you communicate with fans on twitter. I have seen you be the most caring and most loving without any discrimination. You love all fans, all over the world. And we love you too.

将: Another sweet and charming man, that has his awkward moments in life. From the Alice in Wonderfilm DVD, I can see you have truly grown. In the past you were scared or unsure of yourself, but you were sure of the band, and everyone who was in the band. You pushed yourself to keep the one's you care about, happy and safe. You are a force not to mess with. You did come off shy in the Alice in Wonderfilm live, but once you started singing heavy fast songs like, Yami ni chiru sakura and G3, you were just as crazy and confident as the rest of Alice Nine. You are truly a deep and sensitive soul, and I hope that you continue to grow. I am so proud of you. And I will continue to support you.

虎: "As always, thank you"(inside joke). You are a man who is also very sensitive, but very confident and graceful at the same time. You were there by Shou's side, and you continue to be there for, not only Shou, but the rest of the members as well. You are sweet and extremely shy, but very powerful. I hope you also continue to grow and learn. I watched you in the old DVD and you were smiling that same smile, when the audience sang alone to the song. You smile that way, not because you're happy, but you're proud. You have a lot to be proud of too. You had a lot on the line at the beginning. Alice Nine being, and still is, your last band, you are truly grateful to be on stage and to perform for the fans that show you the same amount of love as you show us. お疲れさまでした!

沙我: There is a lot and very little to say about you. From what Tora has told us, you were very high standing over everyone, before you were even famous. You were famous before people even knew you.  Always perverted, and always strong with your music. You are a man that I would love to have as my older brother. You are a very strong with your music, but even stronger with your friends. I can see that Alice Nine means a lot to you. You even defended Nao when he was being picked on, and teased by Tora and Shou. I can see you love Nao, and you love all the members. You have a heart of gold, because you also truly love all your fans. I remember when I spoke really bad Japanese to you. You still listened, and you still said "Thank You". And then the second time I met you, I didn't say anything, only smiled an apologetic smile. You smiled just as wide, showing off your braces at me, and showed me the most attention I've ever gotten from a guy. I know your heart is in the right place. Keep up the good work, and never change.

Nao: There is so much I want to say to you. But for the band, I will say that you are the true glue that keeps everything a organized chaos. You keep everyone smiling and laughing, and enjoying their days to the fullest. You were not the best drummer in the world, but that didn't stop you from working hard and trying. I can see you were worked hard to get were you are today. You continue to work hard, and that is something that I appreciate. Because of you, you inspired me to keep working hard and trying to achieve my dreams. You show people that you don't need to be good at something that makes you happy. You watch over all the members like a good older brother, and then in public behave like a 5 year old, just so you can try and make them laugh. You are a good man as well. Giving expensive gifts to your band mates, and friends. You also try and share those same tastes with your fans. However, we have to pay for it. We can see your good intentions, and we love you for that. You work hard to keep being the backbone for Alice Nine, and for all the members. Again, I have so much to say to you, but I will just keep this short. All I can say is, thank you.

Alice Nine is a shinning band of misfits. I see so many different personalities mixing into one bold color, when I see all 5 members. Their music is all over the place, in sense of genre. Some shops though, to keep it safe, put them in pop. Other stores simply put them in Visual Kei. Alice Nine is a genre all their own. From Yami ni chiru Sakura to Shooting Star, Alice Nine is a band of 5 boys, who had no place to go, and was running out of options. Alice Nine is a band that allows the fans to escape, but it is also a band that allowed the 5 members to escape as well. Not only did they save us, with their music and entertaining lives, but we saved them by supporting them and loving them. 9 years of Alice Nine music is not enough, and I can't wait to see more in the future. 10 years will be so beautiful, that we will surely see a true moment in Alice Nine history.

Again, I thank you Alice Nine, for being yourselves, and allowing us to feel the same way. I will continue to love and support you, for however long you wish to be Alice Nine for. I want to be 50 years old at a live house, watching you five men be 60 years old, playing all the songs we all treasure. Thank you for the 9 years, I am confident that their will be more years to come.
