Surprise Follower PROMO!!!!
Okay, so this is my first surprise promo and its of THIS PERSON! A new follower of mine who is new to tumblr. Her name is Honey (no srsly, thats her name though) and she blogs/reblogs kfashion, fashion, ulzzang, and basically pretty girly things. I've decided that I will start doing surprise promotions of blogs that I like and of my followers (without that bloggers knowledge, of course)!!! Yay!!!!!! So you think YG cares only about the materialistic things? How would YG scream "I want yo munnies gimme" in their songs? If your talking about the MVs, It still doesnt make sense. They invest money to get quality products, not some half ass single. The put in the extra effort that some companies don't bother doing. YG has styled their artists more simple before, but if they like to wear tacky patterns, so what? Is that wrong? Yes. I do think YGE has moved towards a more materialistic style of music. All they seem to promote about rn is my money this, my swag that, jeremy scott this, alexander mcqueen that, and so on
YGE don't directly scream 'I want yo munnies gimme' (don't get me wrong, they do want your money, all business do) but unlike more subtle (over pricing an album, having the artistist do commercials/endorsements/etc.), or maybe even unsubtle (3154874554 diffrent versions of the same damn album/repackaged abums with 1 or 2 more songs-bullshit, etc.), ways YGE does this advertising LOUDLY. these days, with the GD and CL 2NE1 shows running YGE, it's like going window shopping in a mall full of expensive stuff I can't afford. It's fine for a while but after a bit, i start to get pissed off. YGE has become one big ad, every video, every song promo, every artist is a billboard. And not the okay kind, YGE has become a BIG FLASHY SHINY LIGHTUPVEGAS Billboard. And the MVs are no different. Majority (not all) of their MVs and lyrics are throwing name brands at the my face and practically shoving 'em down my throat. Sure they don't say "GO GET THIS NOW!" but with it being the main point of the MV and all I see... They're basically programming and brainwashing and to be honest, that's I get enough of that everyday all day (school, work, internet, tv, etc.) I dont want it from YGE. And yes, YGE does "invest money to get quality products" .ThatXX was great, I love you was a pretty video (not my fav.. song but whatever) and reminded me of one of my fav.. MVs (Time Machine- SNSD) bec. YGE really spared no cost for good production on those vids. and it showed, and I like 'em. I also agree that they "put in the extra effort that some companies don't bother doing" to a certain extent. YGE makes high quality videos, so does JYPE (we all expect SME to have their artist dancing in boxes but that's another topic bec. I think that;s its smart, not nice, but smart), YGE invest in HQ videos but Low Qaulity music (these days), I don't want to here about swagswagswag moneymoneymoney richrichrich i'msofreakinawesome blah blah blah. Its played out. And, yes, they do have good songs with actual meaning but those songs are rarely promoted. YG has styled their artists more simple before, but if they like to wear tacky patterns, so what? Is that wrong? No, there's nothing wrong with liking to wear tacky patterns...UNTIL that becomes the basis of all they do. YGE has gone from being one of the greatest music companies to a tacky fashion company, and are getting away with it bec. fans acceptanything (can also be applied to other companies. Yea, I'm looking at you SM). And I'm sure not veryone in YGE likes to wear those tacky clothes, they get paid to. They get paid to.

They're a business, it's their job to make money. And in the land before time ( ~2011 for Bigbang , 2ne1 have had the same LQ promo songs,except for It Hurts and a few others, that YGE has given them) the quality of YGE was AMAZING, a true force to be reckoned with. Old BigBang and Se7en(still is awesome) and Gummy were AWESOME!!! But now days, the only thing quality about YGE is their clothes, sure the songs are catchy but they don't last (does that make sense, probably not)

I assume you mean physical perfection (in that case, yes SME does take beauty seriously. But they also take the quality of their artist's talents to the highest levels) and JYPE (all their songs sound the same so don't get me started.Please don't kill me!
