Happy 9 year anniversary to us! It was true love at first sight but not without any fights. NOVEMBER TRIBUTE - I cannot believe it is November and time to celebrate my dad’s life and legacy again on social media!! Time goes by so quickly but one thing is certain- the pain and the loss do not go away. 😢 It is true that we as a family have found a new “normal” and that our lives are really beautiful, collectively and independently. But none of that replaces the hole in our lives. 💔 This year in August my parents celebrated 50 years of marriage. My hope this month is to share the life and legacy they have given us together. Honestly, my dad set the example for love, commitment, faithfulness, family, respect, etc., but he did this with his wife by his side and together they chose to create a life for us that has been beautiful and blessed. Yes, there were challenges and yes, there were disappointments and disagreements. But together my mom and dad, through prayer and communication, weathered many storms. I say it every year and this is no different- my daily tributes are about my peace. This serves as my therapy and gives me joy to share with others that which God bestowed upon us as a family.
