ppl who only play aa for the narumitsu content are so fucking weird!!! like you do know that the game isnt solely about them or their relationship right???

literally!!!!!! the game isn't about romance its literally about the characters themselves and the story???? like yeah romance is a nice addition i guess, but its NOT?? supposed to be about that?????? and its so annoying because it literally takes precedence over every other thing in ace attorney for it. Its uncommon for a conversation about ace attorney to not include the ship of the day and its?? just??? BUH!

the fact as well that some really interesting ideas for aus or concepts, such as the phantom thief phoenix shit or phantom being phoenix/edgeworth is just... turned into ship fodder or romance when it shouldnt be all that there is to a concept!!!!!

the ace attorney community and its obsession with shipping is why some characters are completely demonised for just... stupid shit (look at the shit ive seen abt iris lol! they act like she wasn't a victim of dahlia as well sometimes! lol! they act like shes scum of the earth! lol!)

yknow it says something when the phantom is demonised and turned into an abusive r*pist for shipping angst between characters. yknow it says something when a dead character gets more fics than some alive characters because of a damn potential romance people have concocted.

ive never cared for romance, never have and never will. but the way some ace attorney people act about that shit makes me want to just start rolling and writhing and screaming and killing.
