I used to think that grace was obvious. Because I have been a doormat my whole life and never thought I could be mistreated. Thought I deserved any abuse that came my way.

But now I see. Now that I have self-love... I get angry when my boundaries are violated, when I am mistreated. Now I am beginning to understand grace.

Logic is easy. Grace can be very, very hard.

But necessary, for one's self, above all.
