BTS made an entire album about the first Koreans to study in America who were welcomed at Howard University in 1896 when white schools wouldn’t take them. Then their trailer put Black people in the background of their own institution. The history is beautiful. The erasure is not especially seeing how much black culture is taken and used by Koreans to make k pop, you would think they would get this representation correct .
