Alexandra Park in In the Dark (2019 – )
this is your daily reminder that kara danvers is a kryptonian genius and understands science and technology
DCTV Elseworlds Crossover "Batwoman Begins" Featurette - Go behind the scenes with the Arrowverse production team and actress Ruby Rose as they give you a look at Batwoman's introduction to the DCTV universe.
I just realized that someone who feels salty also feels bitter about their situation, is in a sour mood, and may crave sweet revenge.
And what will they do once they get revenge?
They’ll savor it.
Flashbacks to Krypton? Kara talking about her culture??? Kara adventuring with Winn and James????? Girls’ Night with Kara, Alex, Maggie, Lena, and Sam????? A Kara and James conversation??????? Kara dropping that tidbit of Kryptonian science like the genius she actually is????????? All the Aunts™ supporting Ruby??????????? Ending on a Kryptonian prayer while also showing Space Dad praying with Space Dad’s Space Dad???????????????? IS THIS THE SHOW OF MY DREAMS?!?!?!?!?
IMPORTANT
The CW keeps playing with us, and we keep letting them, trusting them “this time will be different.” But they keep letting us down. They don’t realize the importance of the LGBT representation on tv. We barely get any, and when we do, it’s taken away from us. If they knew there was a problem with the availability then they shouldn’t have casted Floriana, make us fall in love with Maggie, make us believe Sanvers will be endgame, just to at the end be like “Oh hey, this was only planned for a season.”
Stop playing with us CW. I’m tired of this.
We matter.
a friend (@lesbian-vanellope) and i were talking about Dr. Doofenshmirtz from the Disney cartoon Phineas and Ferb, and we agreed he was merely a misguided villain, not a truly evil person. So i made several headcanons, as follows:
After the series ended, he decided to stop being evil (since he didn’t have much success with that anyway), and he gets a job as a car mechanic. He's not good at working on cars, but one day, a famous inventor takes him on as an apprentice so he can use his skills for good!
He still has flashbacks to his tragic backstories occasionally, but instead of staying bitter, he joins an anger management group and decides to make inventions that help kids who need guidance, much like he clearly did.
Perry the Playpus/Agent P is occasionally sent to check on him to make sure he's truly reformed, but after a couple years, it becomes clear that this is no longer necessary, and Perry begins fighting a new nemesis.
I can imagine Doofenshmirtz sending Perry cheesy postcards occasionally, and the thought is pretty cute.
I can even imagine him one day sending a letter back to his hometown to see what his father is up to. He probably wouldn't get a reply, but it would give Doofenshmirtz some closure to write the letter.
And, several years later, he reopens his “factory” as Doofenshmirtz Reformed Incorporated. When he retires, Vanessa doesn’t act as his successor, but she does help him figure out which of his workers is worthy of being promoted to CEO.
