When he brings up the most embarrassing part of your life
When they don’t respond to the tiktoks that i sent them straight away
After the rain, Laine felt more determined than ever to be something other than a sitting duck, which required a lot of work. Work began with reading, and reading began in a library. Her family’s would do normally, but she wanted a little company outside her parents and her younger sister--she loved all of them but Lucian’s particular brand of smarmy was dear to her heart. He’d given her a key a while back, and so she currently sat on the floor in his living room, legs folded and a book on her lap while Major laid on his side at her hip.
When she heard the door open, she looked up and straightened slightly. “I broke into your place and am planning on stealing your cat,” she called, hoping to alert him to her presence without alarming him. She smiled fondly at the cat and gently stroked his side a few times, then closed the book and set it aside. @luciantallis
Writer's Block
Jenna was sitting at an outside table of a little coffee shop. Her laptop was open to the side with a blank document open, the cursor blinking in wait for something to be typed. She took a sip of her caramel mocha while doodling on a plain writing pad that she used to take notes on.
The page only had a few things jotted down: mythology, changing history, complete psycho. She had began to draw figures around the words that were hardly recognizable. The anatomy was off, even for a stick figure and what were supposed to be wolves appeared to be mangled balls of fur with teeth. Where her talents did not reside in drawing, they flourished in the written word.
There was no evidence of that as she had hit a total writer's block. The subject, a very strange wolf, was proving more difficult to spin into a story than she had imagined. She was hoping that a nice hot drink would help her get a fresh look into what she wanted to write, but so far it wasn't helping in the slightest.
