Julian knows Malia's leaving for Greece tomorrow so he decides to at least hang out with her before she goes because he has no idea where he'll be and what he'll be doing tomorrow. He forgot to meet her family when they came to visit, so he's afraid he'll forget to say goodbye.

He tells his brothers and sisters to get in bed and then leaves the cabin, knowing that as soon as he leaves, they'll get out of bed. As he leaves, his siblings tease him, saying that he's going to see Koda and how they never saw him again last night, and he doesn't bother explaining that he's not going to see Koda right now.

After jogging to the next cabin over, cabin ten, he knocks on the door and waits for someone to answer.

Ian arrives to lunch fifteen minutes late but at least he makes it. He'd been on the complete opposite side of camp, taking a nap, when he realized how hungry he was and what time it was. He fills his plate with a little over the limit and shovels the best looking french fries into the bonfire for his father. On his way to his table, he sees Malia sitting at the end of hers so he stops, chewing on a couple fries. "Drew, huh?" He doesn't think about using discretion although her siblings are right there.

Julian returns to the amphitheatre after he had excused himself from the history lesson for a moment to go to the bathroom. Well, he had said he was going to the bathroom when he really just needed to stand up and use up some energy and he did that by doing some push-ups. When he starts to walking back to his seat, he notices that the lesson has ended and all the demigods are getting up to leave for beach time. He spots Malia and falls into step beside her. 

"Hey," he says kind of distant.

Julian decides to head down the beach and possibly start on a new sand castle if he feels he's in the mood. He walks by a person sitting/laying on the beach and, when he notices that it's Malia, he stops and turns back to her.

He crouches down beside her. "What are you doing?"

Julian leaves the amphitheatre ten minutes late after the history lesson due to a counselor scolding him about napping when he was supposed awake and attentive. He sighs and starts on the walk to his cabin so he can change into swim trunks.
