Wandering || Mir & Victoria
Releasing a heavy sigh, Victoria pushed the entrance flap open and stepped outside, growing tired of the dark purple confines of her tent. Though the sun was beginning to rise and she really should be heading to sleep for the next night, Victoria was too bored of her tent to linger in there much longer. She just needed a break from all of the tents. Sitting inside for so long with only a limited amount of books and songs on her iPod would begin to bore anyone, and a change of scenery, even if only for a brief while, sounded perfect. She would just have to remind herself to find someone to accompany her to a bookstore so she could restock soon. And while shopping with Ren had been nice, she doubted he would be the type to get excited about visiting any store that didn't offer clothes.
But pushing that matter aside for later thought, the mindreader shoved her hands into her pockets, leaving her blonde locks loose rather than in their normal ponytail. She turned towards where the sun could just be glimpsed over the horizon, and began walking, letting her feet carry her where they wished. As always, she was not concerned with getting in trouble about leaving cirque grounds unaccompanied. What could really be the worst anyone could do to discipline her? So with that mind set in place, she wandered off into the trees surrounding the cirque, still walking towards the general direction of the sunrise. The peace of the area was so wonderful and relaxing, it began to make her question why she ever joined the cirque in the first place. For a moment, a small feeling of homesickness built in her, missing the small house surrounded by heavy woods, just close enough to town to not be considered inconvenient. A peaceful expression settled on her features as she walked, distancing herself from from the cirque while immersing herself in some of the fonder memories she had. Briefly she let her mind wander back to the animals at the animal shelter she used to work at, wondering if any of them had been adopted or were being well taken care of. She could remember going home very day, regretting not taking a little furry creature with her to assure it had a good home.
Becoming quite lost in these memories, she didn't pay attention to where she was going at this point. But Victoria had faith in herself in find the way back; after all, others who would be visiting the cirque performances the next night would probably end up navigating these areas, and if they could, there was no chance she wouldn't be able to.
Medic | Kevin & Mir
Kevin sighed slightly as he stared out the window. It was raining heavily outside, and he was grateful that today was a quiet day. No missions, no patients... Sometimes he hated what he did.
He pushed a few strands of blonde-streaked black hair away from his forehead, staring blankly at the outside world. The sound of rain was soothing to his ears. He shivered slightly as the cold penetrated through his thin shirt, chilling him quickly.
LOL but it's fun 8DDDD xD
