Gyaos in Gamera vs Gyaos.

A major part of Gamera vs Gyaos' plot is about a company contracted to build a highway system, and villagers who refuse to sell their land to allow the highway to be constructed through their village. The villagers are universally framed as greedy and selfish for this.

That aspect of it feels like it was made by a conservative think tank lmfao. (Gyaos is very cool, does everything Rodan does but better.)

Felt like drawing a pair of different Gyaos designs.

Reinfusing the lost bat-ness of his design post-Heisei. Incorporating elements to make him creepy in the perspective of a child to contrast the guardian Gamera.

The idea for this initial go was his bones are denser as to not shatter his own skeleton with his screech. Giving up flight speed for durability and stationary flight like a hummingbird.

Gyaos start fires like some eagles to push out prey into the open and it’s extinguishing pit gases for putting out said fires to get at the dead/fleeing animals w/o injuring itself. Multiple ear holes due to its neck being near fixed in place. A splintering tongue for max surface area reach for lapping up blood and small prey items,
