WEDNESDAY'S WEEKLY POETRY PROMPTS: 2/11/26
As before, once again... prompts from:
Robert Lee Brewer's Poetic Asides:
Take the phrase "(BLANK) Again,"
replace the blank with a new word or phrase,
make the new phrase the title of your poem,
and then, write your poem.
Possible titles might include:
"Not Again,"
"Again & Again,"
"Against the Grain Again,"
"They're Writing Poems Again,"
and/or "Do It Again."
Sherwin-Williams Colorful Palette:
Creamery
Charlotte Rains Dixon's Word Strumpet blog:
She slid on the ice.
Remember:
These prompts are springboards to creativity.
Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.
A bad draft is better than no draft at all...
