Why I keep seeing posts stating "Kakashi killed Rin..."?!
Kakashi did not killed Rin!
Rin used Kakashi to kill herself.
Kakashi had no agency in that action, he was used as a weapon.
Blaming Kakashi for Rin's death is like blaming the tantoo for Sakumo's death.
Rin, like Sakumo, couldn't see another way out at the moment, they chose their actions, both thinking that in some ways they were helping/saving Kakashi, and both of them condemned him to live with the consequences of their choices.
Rin was a 13/14 years old very scared and desperate girl, she couldn't at the moment see the consequences of using Kakashi, the one she loved, to reach her goal, she wanted to save him and Konoha.
Kakashi was a 12/13 years old boy who had to live with the knowledge and permanent vision of his own hand crushing the heart of someone he loved.
Rin was used by Madara to manipulate Obito, she was a victim.
Kakashi was used by Rin to kill herself, he was also a victim.
I insist, Rin's actions might have been desperate (and coming from an underdeveloped brain at that age), but their were still HER actions.
Kakashi didn't tried to stop a jinchurriki from going feral in Konoha, Kakashi didn't tried to stop the sanbi from getting free, Kakashi was trying to rescue and protect Rin, he was trying to find another way.
Kakashi DID NOT KILLED RIN!
Rin killed Rin!
