New Video: Kendrick Lamar Offers Up A Video For “These Walls”.
Kendrick Lamar throws one hell of a party for his To Pimp a Butterfly track "These Walls." Dubbed "A Black Comedy," the visual for "These Walls" unfolds almost like a short film. The video is directed Colin Tilley, and stars Terry Crews, comedian Corey Holcomb and more. Kendrick's latest also features a dance-off set to iHeart Memphis' "Hit the Quan." You can watch the video for "These Walls" above.
A Black Comedy
By nonjon, so you know it's gonna be hilarious. In the Harry Potter Empire Fandom.
Ok, so, A Black Comedy is one of those classics. You gotta read it. Hilarious, punny, massive AU rewrite, it even has Sirius Black—with sexual innuendoes included!—what more can you ask for? Nothing, that's what. It's even completed, for God's sake. Perfection.
Two years after defeating Voldemort, Harry falls into an alternate dimension with his godfather. Together, they embark on a new life filled with drunken debauchery, thievery, and generally antagonizing all their old family, friends, and enemies.
I don't do summaries, but for the sake of it being one of the most awesomest fanfic I have ever read— here. You better be grateful, twit.
It's been a long time since I read this, what with getting into SNK and then KHR! and then Fullmetal again, so forgive me if I'm wrong. It all starts with Harry going to the Veil, and falling in. He's then captured by Unspeakables, and then they get into this fight and whoom! He goes all BAMF, and obliviates the lot of 'em into thinking he's some busty blonde. Blah blah blah, he find Sirius living the high life and family reunion. Meets Other!Tonks who is not in love with her foster father Remus, and they explain so your poor head doesn't start hurting even more. Harry isn't Harry Potter anymore, he's Harry Black (lol, ik), and they go and wreak havoc in the Wizarding World.
Oh, did I mention James and Lily are alive and James is a douchebag? Hmm, evidently not. Well, fun all around. Go read it. Now. I'm too lazy to continue the summary.
You don't understand, guys, this fic is awesome. I actually reviewed. And I never review, and it wasn't a flamer this time, too. This is a Code Purple meaning Awesome. Drop all fanfictions you are reading and read this now. And if you already read it, reread it. Twenty years from now, when the little children are reading Harry Potter for their first time and just getting started in the world of Fanfiction and HP is a classic up there with LOTR and Pirates of the Caribbean and the Avengers and Iron Man and Naruto and Fullmetal and SNK and oh man this list is infinite, A Black Comedy will still be one of the most favorited and nonjon will be worshipped.
Siriusly.
(Oh, and you can find my fanfiction account at asterinsanity— it even has all my favorite'd stories! Yay.)
This is seriously the funniest fic I've ever read omg
"If the stories my son has been telling me are true, Harry," Lily smiled warmly, "then I'd hate to be your mother." "What?" Harry blurted out before he could stop himself. Lily kept the pleasant smile on her face as she explained, "The scars, the adventures, the danger? She must have been worried silly." "Oh," Harry said, trying to act casual and failing. "Yeah, well she handled it pretty well considering-" Sirius coughed and interrupted Harry, noticing Harry was sweating already. Harry glanced at his godfather and helpfully explained with a smile, "She died when I was one." "Oh," Lily stopped smiling and felt bad for being so insensitive. Harry saw Lily's face fall and tried to make her feel better, "My dad too." Immediately after Harry said it, he wondered why he thought that would make her feel better. Lily found herself pitying and sympathizing for Harry and added to the fun. "My firstborn son died." Everyone turned to her in surprise. Lily saw them look at her and quickly explained, "He was one as well." She belatedly realized that this was not the best way to lighten the mood. The group of five were all exchanging looks at the awkward direction of the night's first conversation. Sirius finally broke the silence. "I had a goldfish once." "Sirius, stop," Harry jumped in before his godfather could get going. "Okay," Sirius agreed not really wanting to dredge up painful memories of Goldie.
