Synopsis:

It’s time for your enrollment in Ebott university as a freshman. Luckily you managed to get the scholarship you're aiming for so hard and a good place to stay in a sharing house for a year, which was hosted by multiple living skeletons. A surprise reunion with your 3 years-runaway sister wasn't what you expected, specifically not with her having her own harem with the hosts of the house. It's swell and all until you saw the other tenant, who was antagonized by everyone. And seems like your sister has something to do with it. Should you just stand by and watch, or should you interfere? But you’re just an outsider, and you like neither of the choices you had.

Anna rolled her eyes, glancing down at her phone as she started to try and walk around the person talking to her. “While I’m sure the station would be thrilled to hear your critique of my show, I can’t think of anything worse.” The brunette flipped her curls off her shoulder, knowing that she would probably be in trouble if anyone heard her talking to the general public like that. “Now if you don’t mind I’m about to be late for a taping so move out of my way.”

The door swung open letting in the chants of a group of Anti-Mags who’d stopped in for a break. Her coffee shop seemed to become a hotspot for magicl and non-magical people as of recent-- both coming in with fire in their eyes not knowing that the other was among them. It was getting annoying. The aggression ruining the peaceful atmosphere that she’d created with black and white views. Though she supposed being a Sentinel this just hit too close to home.

  “The number one rule of this place is to leave your trouble at the door.” Victoire motioned towards the little sign by the door. The rowdy protesters had once again came in yelling, fired up from their last rally and disturbing her customers. Victoire, despite believing in their right to do it, was getting a little tired of the noise and perhaps even more so of the degrading signs towards wixen. “You’re welcome to stay but I’m going to have to ask you to take it down a notch while you’re here.”

It wasn’t an uncommon occurrence for the metamorphmagus to be protesting something. Often standing on the walls in the courtyard until McGonagall dragged her off to a tired looking Sprout ( ‘again miss goldstein?’ ). Just last week she’d protested for better centaur rights, and had the week detention to match. This time, the Hufflepuff was standing there with a sign that read WHO NEEDS SEX? THE GOVERNMENT FUCKS ME EVERYDAY in loud animated ink, the words quivering on the page. Handing out black badges that showed a match lighting itself, with the words start something in bold above. In the middle of her rant, someone yelled something she deemed insulting and so, of course, the only logical reaction was- “Listen mate, hows about you come ‘ere and say that to my face, yeah? See how cocky you are with with a piece of cardboard shoved up ya arse.” She yelled as she jumped down from the wall, hair turning a flaming red.

Open||Carter

Run.

It was an instinct drilled into the demigods head since a young age. He and his brother were always polar opposites. Orion was fire, he ran headd first into a fight and never held back, he would burn a path of destruction with no remorse. But Carter? Carter was water, he was calm and quiet, he avoided confrontation and ran when he could. Carter preferred to be alone, he preferred to move with his own tide.

But tonight, he found himself face to face with a fight- and he didn’t want it. Every instinct told him to run, but his feet seemed to be cemented where he stod.

‘Come on Carter- run. You can’t fight. You may have God blood, but you’ve got a cowards heart.’ 

Carter could hear the words his brother would sneer in his ears, ringing through his body like a wave. But yet, he couldn’t move, the impending threat had him n a trance, like he was drowning.

Part of him knows he shouldn’t get involved with the fight.

Part of him knows he should just keep walking and pretend he didn’t see it.

That part is being ignored. The Cyborg’s been itching for a rumble for weeks now and here he sees the perfect opportunity to sate his appetite. Most people’s self preservation instinct would keep them from going near a fight...

Toaster was not one of those people. He outright charged forward, closing the gap in seconds, stopping inches from an assailant. Feet planted, arm back, forward, and the satisfying feeling of fist connecting with head. A sickening crack can be heard echoing out as the unfortunate combatant sails less-than-gracefully in to the nearest wall.

He wasn’t sure who was fighting or who he’d just punched. But damn it had felt good.
