Iestyn reminds her a lot of Meryn; they’ve both got that flirtatious, playful, adventurous spirit. Boisterous. With a loud personality. Aside from that she thinks he’s got an incredibly unique look — his skin and hair are similar enough colors that it really makes his eyes and jewelry stand out. It’s very different from most of the other elves she knows.

He’s a kind enough person, and he seems to make other people she likes happy. She wouldn’t want to see him hurt, or put in a position to be hurt. Compassion is, after all, one of the tenants of the Light.

She doesn’t really know Iestyn very well at all, and he doesn’t know her very well at all either. Lyn is always fine having coffee and chats with near-strangers, this is common enough at Cakes, but it takes her a while to warm up to anything more than that without a solid foundation of respect and trust.
