           This was Nomi’s third warning. No more playing around. She zipped through the hallways as though hell itself was NIPPING at her heels. Her skirt flying obscenely, each slap of her feet resounding like a ticking time bomb. She burst through the library huffing and puffing, having charged up three flights of stairs, two of which had swung her right back around mid-way through. But it had been worth it. Had she broken another warning, she’d have not been able to check out any single book for the remainder of the whole year. She reckoned that couldn’t be TRUE, but the idea of being banned from the library terrified her enough that she settled on biting her gums and playing along. It wasn’t her strong suit, but the wealth of knowledge before her was completely worth it. 

While the librarian sorted the books, Nomi regained her breath, bent over at the waist. She then leaned back against a bookcase that didn’t look as though it would topple over with a single breath, and glanced over at Pansy. “ How long have you been here?  ” She asked, astonished. Mrs. Pince continued to sort through the books. One down... nine more to go. “ Flint ought to train us up and down those bloody stairs. I think I lost half a stone running here! ”
