reminder that, victor generally being in a room for even a few moments can make the temperature in the room drop a couple degrees easily. this is due to his own nature cold aura, plus the cold that his suit gives off for him to stay alive. the cold that he generates is an easy tell tale sign that he’s in the room. him being in a room for long periods of time, leads to a massive drop in temperature.

“One being… scrubbing so much but the bloody spot on the window will not become cleansed…” Jamison replies, uneasy and dull laughter following afterward.

He perks up, smiling once more, “But the worst would be the winter air/wind, being coldblooded it gets cold very easily.”

    for a normal human, people can die once the body temperature drops below 70 degrees f. victor typically keeps his frozen bases and rooms, well below -20 degrees, usually reaching -100 degrees or over it. the average would be about -80. this is due to his need to be cold, and also his attempt to feel the cold against his skin. it usually means that even heavily equipped for the cold, people can die after a few hours in victor's cold. after one hour, without treatment, a normal person is most likely to die of hypothermia. at -30 degrees, a person who isn't healthy or dressed for the cold could experience hypothermia in almost 10 minutes, and at -40, hypothermia can happen in almost 7 minutes. bottom line, unless your a friend, chances are, victor will not heat up his home for you, and you shouldn't stay over an hour at his base otherwise.

what temperature does myles keep in his apartment? is he one of those guys who guards the therm with his life?

Myles is naturally a bit cold blooded (in every sense of the term), so he’s likely to keep his apartment fairly warm, but he does a lot of baking, so it’ll be naturally warm without him having to change the thermostat a lot. He doesn’t ever have to guard it with his life because… he never has anyone over to touch it, so he’s always comfortable. 

If people are coming over, they’ll have to deal with it, though he’ll try to make a conscious effort to either open a window or turn the heat off. The only time it isn’t running is probably on the hottest of days in summer, but even then, catch him with the windows open and no AC on.
