365 Days of Captain Swan [Day 158]
1/3 - Lieutenant Jones was drowning. His limbs frantically struggled in the water as his lungs burned for air, but he just couldn't get free of the debris from the shipwreck that was dragging him deeper and deeper below the surface. His vision was beginning to darken at the edges when he saw a flash of colour moving towards him in the water. He tensed, immediately thinking the worst.
2/3 - The creature came closer and he had just enough consciousness left to realise that it seemed to be a young kraken. He knew of their reputations as sinkers of ships, but as his ship was already sinking, he couldn't bring himself to be afraid of it. Its tentacles pulsed in the water as it moved around him, examining him as he continued to fight for freedom.
3/3 - As darkness pulled him away, he felt movement around his legs and suddenly he was free from the debris that had been anchoring him down. His eyes closed as tentacles wrapped around his arm and began pulling him upwards. He didn't know how long he'd been unconscious for when he woke suddenly on a rock, alone except for the flash of tentacles disappearing below the waves.
Some tentacles just for you - with love from the Tentacle Fairy x x x
Lieutenant Jones and Kraken-san!! Oh, my goodness! Thank you Tentacle Fairy!
Young Killian meets Young Kraken who saves him from drowning. Be still my heart! *happy sigh*
Does the young lieutenant keep a weathered eye for his mysterious rescuer? Often peering through his spy glass for a glimpse of tentacle?
How long before these two cross paths once again?? I must know!
