That One Braincell: Are you having a good day?

Me: Yeah, why-

That One Braincell: I always loved inventing. Weird, fun, wacky stuff. But my parents...they didn't like it at all. They had...different plans for me. Alsotherewassomekidsatschoolandabunchofotherpeopleinmylifewhomockedmerelentlessly. So, I hid my creativity away. Hid it so deep down inside of me, it just came out as these...super-creative outbursts.

Me: (Internal screaming)

Me and my sister were showing Adoradad to her best friend & at the end when Eugene said Adorabat scared him, my sister asked me "Did Sonara scare him too? And that's why Adorabat reminds him of her?"

And I jokingly said "I bet that's why he married Sonara in the first place."

Anyways, my new hc is that Eugene is exclusively attracted to badasses, thanks for coming to my TedTalk

My sister when she watched Ultraclops for the first time

Me: So, what did you think?

Her: I think Mao Mao and Adorabat should listen to Badgerclops more.

Me: I agree.

Her: Also they're pieces of s-

Me: WELL DON'T SAY THAT

"Mao doesn't celebrate his birthday cuz he doesn't care for sentimental things and because of what happened on his sixth birthday"

This is Mao on his birthday and you can't change my mind

Badgerclops' dialogue in FlyAway be like: *tells a joke* *tells a joke* *explains to Mao Mao how carrying Adorabat's dead body will probably haunt him for the rest of his life* *tells a joke*

When I saw Adoradad for like the 2nd or 3rd time, when Eugene told Adorabat "No, never!" after she said she wanted to keep fighting monsters, it reminded me of a song from an anime that had that line in one of the lyrics but I couldn't remember the name of the song or anime

I just remembered it was Sukizuki Nii-Nii from Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni

And now I'm sad :,)

Some things I noticed about Lonely Kid:

The line "I love you." is said whenever Mao Mao speaks to someone.

The first time, he's under the bridge talking to himself ("BUT NOBODY LIKES ME!").

The second time, he's in the village talking to Bao Bao ("What's that, boy? You say I don't need a sword to be a hero? Alls I need is someone to believe in me?").

And the third time, he's in the present day talking to Adorabat ("But the important thing is, your real friends will find you.").

In the intro, when the line "Finally, my dreams are coming true!" is said, Badgerclops appears.

In Lonely Kid, when the line "And my dreams are coming true!" is said, Badgerclops starts speaking ("Actually, Mao Mao is MY best friend!").

I see this as going two ways - either they intentionally referenced the intro, or that particular phrase is associated with him for some reason. And given how he indirectly states he never felt loved and understood until he met Mao Mao in Badge-A-Fire...
