As my title suggests, I am The Marchioness of The Kingdom of Carcosa, as well as the assigned Lady-In-Waiting for The Princess.

Why "david thewlis and gary oldman thought remus and sirius were dating" is a distortion campaign, and the real story is actually harmful to queer ppl:

In an interview with David, the actor spoke about how Alfonson Cauron (the director of POA) interpreted Remus as gay.

REASON: He thought that lycanthropy was queercoded

Why is this problematic?

Well, if we really did associate homosexuality with lycanthropy, let's follow along a scenario where an older man who lives as an outcast of society finds a liking to young boys and enjoys turning them into the same species as him. I might like to add that this sounds like a certain conservative propaganda against gay men and the AIDs pandemic. Now, I do realise that people tend to choose what to believe in, and when a story feeds into their agenda, naturally, the truth will not be sought out. I've seen so many comments spreading lies simply to validate wolfstar. I'll burst your bubble now: that never happened.

And while we're on this topic, I'd like to add that saying remadora is a "lavender marriage" defeats the whole purpose of lavender marriages. The point of unions like this is to avoid social stigma.

Ask yourself this: How is Tonks avoiding stigma and prejudice upon her relationship/preferences by being with a werewolf? She's not. That's the thing. Now, if you dislike remadora, dislike them all you want. Don't come up with bs reasons to invalidate the pairing. Thanks.
