I have a problem. I request Grell too much... ANYWAY, Grell x reader who's a huge wallflower and absolutely HATES big gatherings and social interaction? Thank you, your writing is amazing! ^u^
MAN, no such thing as too much Grell! I hope this is okay~ <3
“You’renot going to dance with me, are you, darling?”
“Definitelynot, darling. Sorry. Maybe later at home.”
Grellhuffs and smooths out the bottom of their dress. Well, this isn’twhat they had in mind. “Oh, come on! I didn’t get all dolled upjust to stand on the sidelines with you while you try to blend inwith the wallpaper.”
Youmanage a snort as you readjust your position. “You can go dancewith someone else, Grell. I’m not going to be jealous.” It’snot their fault that this all isn’t your scene, after all. But theReapers’ Ball is the biggest party of the year for them, so you’renot going to be responsible for ruining it. “You’re the one whoinsisted on me coming.”
“SoI could show you off! You’re not getting shown off like this.”They cross their arms over their chest. The toe of their high heeltaps impatiently against the tile floor. “And I don’t want todance with anyone else, I want to dance with you! What do Ihave to do to convince you?”
Yourresponse is a sigh, then you glance out onto the dance floor. Therearen’t many people there right now; Ronald and one of the girlsfrom Reception, Othello dancing all by himself, a few of the newtrainees that you don’t really know. At the very least, Ronald, hispartner, and Othello will keep most of the attention off anyone else. The flip side of that is since there aren’t many people dancing atthe moment, people might be watching instead of dancing themselves.
You’requiet for a minute as you weigh your options. Finally, you reach overand set your hand in Grell’s. “Give me a kiss, and I’ll dancefor one song with you. But,” you add before they can get tooexcited, “I’ll also make you a deal. If I dance to two songs withyou, you won’t make me talk to anyone for the rest of the evening. No small talk, no leaving me alone with your coworkers, no nothing. You can show me off and I’ll say hello, but you’re not going tomake me engage in conversation.”
“Mmmmm…!”That pout of theirs is absolutely adorable. Their brows furrow morebehind their glasses, and they twirl a few locks of hair around theirfinger. The whole time, they’re also stomping their foot lightlyagainst the floor in thought. After a couple of long seconds, theysqueeze your hand. “You drive such a hard bargain! Sometimes Ithink you just like to see me squirm! But fine, fine… two songs!”They lean over and press a kiss to your lips, swinging your hand withtheirs. Even though it’s just something quick, they’re alwayspassionate about anything romantic.
Tracesof their lipstick cling to your mouth, and before you know it,they’re pulling you out onto the floor. “Ronald! Othello! Makesome room!”
