Despite what some writers *cough cough* the Duffers *cough cough* may think, I don’t think any of us would have problems with some plotholes or loose ends as long as the ending was just GOOD.
Writers are not infallible, they’re gonna make mistakes. It’s inevitable that something slips through the cracks.
Seriously, in S1 Will’s birthday is listed in June or some shit before it was changed to March 22nd. People knew and we didn’t care! We all just agreed it was probably reconned.
We don’t need a real explanation on where or what the Mind Flayer was. We don’t even need a real reason how it was initially discovered by the military. We don’t need every fucking answer.
These questions only pop up when you start making egregious errors or show that you clearly don’t care, which the Duffers did both.
People are A LOT more forgiving for fuck ups when you show that you’re earnest and your heart’s in the right place. At least I am.
