#a good ending

Despite what some writers *cough cough* the Duffers *cough cough* may think, I don’t think any of us would have problems with some plotholes or loose ends as long as the ending was just GOOD.

Writers are not infallible, they’re gonna make mistakes. It’s inevitable that something slips through the cracks.

Seriously, in S1 Will’s birthday is listed in June or some shit before it was changed to March 22nd. People knew and we didn’t care! We all just agreed it was probably reconned.

We don’t need a real explanation on where or what the Mind Flayer was. We don’t even need a real reason how it was initially discovered by the military. We don’t need every fucking answer.

These questions only pop up when you start making egregious errors or show that you clearly don’t care, which the Duffers did both.

People are A LOT more forgiving for fuck ups when you show that you’re earnest and your heart’s in the right place. At least I am.

But yah!! I had these stored away on the canvas I used for the animatic- and they didn’t fit the song I felt so I just never fully colored or rendered them for the Final Cut. But since the animatic is doing good and people actually wanna see the extra drawings for a good ending… here ya go :3

He isn't sure how he found himself sitting next to the speaker in his alleyway. He'd amassed a small group of hangers-on, eager listeners to his words, and for the moment, Akira is one of the crowd.

Or is he? Is the crowd simply the awareness of the masses pressing in around him and the other, unwanted attention although not entirely unfamiliar at this point? Meaning that Akira finds himself alone with the speaker, a teacher disseminating his knowledge to a loyal student. Leaning against the wall, Akira rests a hand on his knee, pose relaxed but face attentive.

"You're saying I should just give up?" he asks, piercing through the flowery words for a question and a look. Something is rising in his chest, distantly. So often he shifts himself to accommodate someone, to make himself the best person for the one he's talking to. But here, as he listens, something rebels, pushes back. "I shouldn't care?"

Closure

Thank you for your message. I appreciate everything you said. I think we're both gonna be ok. Part of me desperately wanted to have a whole conversation but I know that simply thank you is the best for both of us. I hope our paths do cross again, someday, when you're ready for it. But till then, I know the stars shine a little brighter tonight. Till then, we each have our own beautiful lives. I'm forcing myself not to re read potentially the last words you will ever give to me. Because of course my human nature doesn't really want an end. But the rest of me is ok that this is the end. It's a pretty good ending. Not a happy ending, but a cathartic one; like an ancient greek tragedy, or a really good session of dnd. This will be the last I post about you till we meet again. I like to think that the rogues get fan mail while in arkham from various people, kids, adults, angsty teens...etc

I bet you there’s a kid out there being bullied. They don’t know what to do and as a last resort they write a letter to their favorite rogue, Scarecrow. He stands up the the bullies. Maybe he’d help.

Jonathan gets the letter and reads it carefully, it starts off normal enough, flattering words and general talk but several paragraphs later the kid opens up about being bullied. Jonathan’s interest is piqued. He reads about how this bully attacks him at school, throwing rocks and punching him in the face. He’s reminded of his own childhood.  He grasps the letter tightly and vows to help this kid.

That very night he escapes Arkham Asylum.

And before dawn breaks he’s found the house of the bully thanks to some sleuthing via the Riddler. He sneaks in the second story window and shots the child with a dart embedded with fear toxin. Instant nightmares.

About a half hour before school starts, The Scarecrow appears in the school yard with the comatose bully tied up at his side. He peaches about bullying and abuse to the students before him. In the audience is the poor bulled child. He feels validated. No longer will he live in fear.

And that is how the Scarecrow set an example for those kids. Anyone caught bullying will suffer at his grasp.

Lee, which is the name I go by, is my last name. So she did really well😊 over the summer she accepted me coming out as a lesbian. All she cares abt is making sure I’m loved and taken care of. Really my middle name gets my hatred. (Hopefully that clarifies it. I just woke up from a nap so typing is not the best^^;)
