A Missing Year || finding-milah
When Killian woke, everything appeared to be normal. At least at first. He yawned not sure when he had fallen asleep, his arm around Milah as it always was when they slept. But there was something different. He eyes suddenly opened when he realized that her stomach was larger than he remembered, almost as if she was pregnant again. That wasn't possible.
That was when he remembered the curse, standing at the town line, Liam in his arms and Mara in hers. They were barely over a year old. And that was when the curse hit. And then. . . . . this. Waking up inside what appeared to still be their house in Storybrooke. But the curse was supposed to bring them back to the Enchanted Forest.
"Daddy help," he heard a voice from where Liam and Mara's room was. He slipped away from Milah as he made his way to his childrens rooms, his heart nearly stopping when he saw Mara at the edge of her crib. The last he remembered she was around one. If he didn't know better he would say she was two now. She looked upset and he wondered if she was as confused as he was. "I don't like." she said and he gave her a small smile walking up and picking her up out of the crib, rocking her gently.
"It's alright, love," he whispered, not sure how to reassure his daughter when he was this confused about what was happening. It appeared that Liam was still fast asleep in his own crib. Something was wrong and he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do. Mara clung to him and he wasn't sure he wanted to let her go at this point, moving back into him and Milahs bedroom and stepping to the side of the bed.
"Milah, love, wake up," he said, trying to hide the panic in his voice as he brushed a lock of hair out of her eyes. "Milah. . . ?"
