A Not Date | Kai & Peter

Kai had to take a deep breath as he stood outside of the art room. He was just going to hang out with Peter, this really shouldn’t be that big a deal for him. But it was, exactly because it was Peter. Kai knew this wasn’t a date, after all why would Peter want to date him? This was just hanging out. Granted, Kai had taken extra care to look presentable, and he’d even baked some cookies for them tonight. Just a batch of chocolate chip cookies, but Kai took his time with them, he wanted Peter to like them and for them not to be burnt this time around. When he finally gained enough courage to open the door, he smiled when he spotted Peter, waving at him.

A Not-Date [Link, Malon]

Link drumming on the banister impatiently, waiting for Malon.  It had taken him maybe five minutes tops to finish dressing in the suit and mask he had selected for himself.  He had opted not to wear the mask just yet, at risk of limiting his vision too much to clearly make out the steps.

Twirling it about, he paced the hallway.  His nerves were in a perpetual restless state it seemed, and Link was only too aware of the cause.  Malon's dress had looked lovely enough in the shop, but the thought of her actually wearing it was... well, a bit too much to take.

Gingerly, he rapped on Malon's door.  "Hurry up, we might still have time to pick at the leftover refreshments," he commented dryly.
