Kat stopped to walk, her heels stopping clicking on the floor. She looked around, squinting her eyes before looking back at her phone. She had first thought that her lover had answered her texts, but the message came from an unknown number. If one of here engineer had hacked her phone, he was dead.
[text]: I really hope that you are not one of my employees. But then if you are just a stalker you are screwed too.
At first, there was no reply from Kat’s mysterious interlocutor. But hoping it would end there would have been asking too much from the entity who were currently floating around Kat, unfortunately concealed from mortal's eyes.
Aitem's curiosity had been piqued as soon as he had crossed path with the woman while he was wandering aimlessly, already tired from that dimension. Feeling he might have found someone deserving his attention, he had decided to follow her on a whim to see where she was heading for. But then she had started to take selfies, and he had grown bored to the point where he had felt the urge to hack her phone and send her a message. He hadn't browsed her files, though. His friends had told him more than once that it was rude to do so, especially when initiating the first contact, and he had learned to restrain himself... begrudgingly. Anyway, his tact didn’t prevent the woman to be upset.
They were always upset at first.
[text]: I'm neither an employee of your, nor a stalker, just a passerby.
It wasn’t even a lie since he was standing several feet behind her in the crowd.
[text]:You've got a fine piece of technology here. Why use it for selfies? It seems priceless compared to what I've seen in this world. Apart from KaibaCorp's products, I mean. But it's not a KC's phone, isn't it? Why people spend so much money to take selfies is beyond me!
