Actually you should tie me up and display me like a piece of art. I want people to walk up and start discussing the meaning of rope biting into my skin, of the pose you've fixed me in. I want to listen to them commending your technique and how crisp the knots are. How the rope is just the right color to complement my pink undertones. I want you to get awards for me. To travel from museum to museum with you just to be tied up and displayed day after day. Of course my face is covered and I went through months of training for this. I'm so still most of the audience doesn't realize I'm not a doll.
But the big donors know. At the end of each exhibition they have a party where the primary objective is to see what all they can put me through before I make a noise.
