Chidera Eggerue, 23, used to resent her drooping breasts and dreamed of the day she could get a boob job. Now she is encouraging women to love their bosom buddies ā no matter the size or sag.
āFor the women who look like me: Your saggy boobs matter. And from now until you die, whatās going to matter, ultimately, is your character. Sometimes people are scared of what they havenāt been taught to accept. We still have to exist loudly, though.ā

while you were attending therapy i was studying the blade
what do you mean i need better coping mechanisms
>a wild therapist has entered the chat you need an additional coping mechanism studying the blade is a DBT principle called Building Mastery - wherein you engage in anything that is practical during which you gain skill and can actively see yourself progress - which is resilience building technique by which you shore yourself against vulnerability factors that make it harder to regulate emotions and manage activities of daily life and interpersonal interactions effectively. if you continue to study the blade while engaging in therapy, it will in fact make your therapeutic session more effective because having a skill that you pursue builds self-esteem and is a foundation upon which other coping skills can be built. so not better coping skills, blademaster, additional ones. you are already heading in the right direction and you have proven you have the tenacity to apply yourself to one discipline. now show us what you can do when applying yourself to your healing.

#love is stored in knowing glances and the little comments you make during your wedding vows
sometimes responding to media you like is articulate and sometimes it is microwave noises and static fizz
yeahh this is what prompted me to make this post

Iāve assigned each kiss prompt I received a number and am using a random number generator to choose which prompt to write because I got quite a few from you all! As a reminder, Iām trying to keep these to around 200 words and Iām going to try and do at least one per day til theyāre all done. If youāve sent me a prompt, I promise Iāll get to it!
Thanks for this prompt, Shannon! š
a kiss in relief
TK feels like heās going to burst out of his skin. Nancy didnāt let him drive. She takes one look at him and snatches the keys before he can grab them. TK sits in the back of the ambulance chewing the inside of his cheek and bouncing his leg and by the time they arrive at the scene, TK is ready to claw his way out of the ambulance.
TKās knees almost give way when he realises that the officer theyād been called to assist isnāt Carlos. He reels in his emotions and focuses on the patient. From a distance, he spots Carlos and it takes everything he has not to get up and run to his husband.
As TK loads the patient into the back of the ambulance later, thereās a brief squeeze of his shoulder and he looks up to see Carlos walking past him. Thereās a lot said in their silent glance: I love you and I was worried and I know, Iām sorry and Iām so glad youāre okay and I love you.
Hours later, heās doing inventory when Nancy nudges his shoulder. Looking up, TK sees Carlos striding through the entrance of the firehouse towards him. TK puts his clipboard down and rushes towards him.
Carlos catches him around the waist, his other arm coming up across the back of his shoulder blades, his hand cradling TKās neck as he buries his face in his spot. TK clutches at Carlosā shoulders a little more desperately than he should in the middle of his workplace.
āBaby,ā he breathes against Carlosā skin.
After a long moment, Carlos lifts his head from TKās neck and TK presses their lips together. He lingers, soaking up the perfect pressure of Carlosā lips against his and the way he holds TKās neck. The pressure of his fingers at TKās waist gives away his slight desperation to hold TK, matching TKās own need to be held by his husband.
Carlos is here. Heās whole. Heās his.

So, listen, I just got the email from the clinic. Okay, and? And I'm negative for the Huntington's gene, which means you are too.

Hanging out with old people rules because after a while they trust you enough to confess to murder totally unprompted
Wait what.
Sometimes old ladies had to kick the ladder out from under their stepfathers when they were girls and thatās valid
oh, my little old lady murder story was her replacing the medication in her abusive husband's capsules with rat poison.
"back in the day, our grandmothers worked on their marriages and didn't get divorced!" nah, friend, they COULDN'T get a divorce so sometimes they killed their fuckin husbands. ĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆ
My grandma murdered her first husband the first time he beat their daughter.
My college was next to an assisted living facility and one time we went over there to draw peopleās portraits so we could get practice drawing older people. The lady I was drawing idly told me that she "dealt quite handily with her first husbandā while making a stabbing gesture. Five minutes later she requested I make sure not to draw her double chin. I honored that request.
So when I was a child my grandmother told all these great stories about growing up in the Alaskan wilderness. Amazing bad ass stories about her and my great-grandmother. I recently asked my mom why my great-grandmother moved from Texas to Alaska in the first place. Turns out my Great-grandfather was abusive to my great grandmother for years and she lived with that until the first time he hit my grandmother, who was like three at the time, my great-grandmother got him very drunk and beat him to death then moved to Alaska to hide from the cops.
Men don't realize their life expectancy went up thanks to divorce.
Figure 9.3 shows that the number of males killed by intimate partners dropped by 71.4% between 1976 and 2002. Researchers and advocates for battered women attribute this dramatic decline to the widespread availability of support services for women, including shelters, crisis counseling, hotlines, and legal measures such as protection and restraining orders. These services offer abused women options for escaping violence and abuse other than taking their partners' lives. Other factors that may have contributed to the decline are the increased ease of obtaining divorce and the generally improved economic conditions for women.
