To explain myself a little better than my last post about Agent Carter, I want to clear up something really important (and would appreciate it being spread)

PLEASE critique Agent Carter. PLEASE yell at Marvel about a lack of diverse casting. PLEASE don't be quiet about how nearly the entire cast is completely white. PLEASE TELL OFF ALL THE WRITERS WHO THINK IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL AND DEMAND RESULTS

My post about getting the show canceled was in relation to boycotting the show, not critiquing. I felt that there was more at stake losing a greatly represented woman lead by not giving it ratings than there is losing another white man lead.

By no means should anyone say it's okay Agent Carter has almost no POC on the cast list, and I will never tell anyone to keep quiet about it either. I want more diversity, and I'll be damned if I sit around and wait for it to happen too.

Long story short, if you get a a TV show canceled with a well-written female lead on the premise of next to 0 POC, we end up destroying each other's causes. Now there isn't a female lead show with which to criticize on a lack of POC.

And the partriarchy hasn't even lifted a finger.

Agent Carter is the one thing in life that I care about right now and if it gets canceled I will lock myself into my room and never leave again

I kept tagging all my Agent Carter content under my superhero tag because I didn't want to change main tags (I'd always tagged peggy under superheroes & figured keeping it was the better option)

but lbh that show deserves it's own tag & character specific tags (I 100% was willing to watch the show with only Peggy character development but the others are obviously getting it too and I'm so okay with that)

so I'm tagging everything Agent Carter related as "agent carter" (also easier for blocking spoilers I imagine) and including the other characters in subtags just if anyone wants to know!
