also oh my gosh it NEVER ceases to Get Me when a caretaker is not used to taking care of people but tries very hard to take care of whumpee. Bonus points for rough/grumpy caretaker. bonus points for whumpee being ;u; bc it's still so much better than where they came from. basically >:| taking care of T-T

The caretaker taking care of the whumpee because No One Ever Took Care of Them and they don't want anyone else to suffer the way they did.

The whumpee seeing past the Grumpy Mask because they've seen Scary. They've seen Bad. This person is not Scary or Bad.

(Bonus if the caretaker is physically imposing/scary.)

Anon, I've been thinking and thinking about this answer, and I... Have no idea.

Whumpee's...

S/O? Excellent. Friend? Wonderful. Rival? Spectacular. Enemy? Marvelous.

Are they...

Extremely competent? Lovely! Somewhat competent? Charming! Completely at a loss? Gimmie!

Gentleness?

Extremely gentle? I melt. Brisk and businesslike? So great! Almost rough in their caretaking? Absolutely splendid!

Basically, give me all the different caretakers. I love them all!

6. What are the traits of your ideal whumpee?

Strong character, but breakable. Preferably with a lot of guilt that the whumper can manipulate. Protective. (Wiling to take the punishment for others, etc.) 

7. What are the traits of your ideal whumper?

Sadistically playful, manipulative, whumps mentally as well as physically… I like the whumpers that will make jokes as they casually stab someone. 

14. What are your least favorite whump tropes?

Anything to do with fingernails/toenails for sure. And I love reading fics where characters have to deal with being blind, especially temporarily, but anything actually focusing on eyes is… Nope. In all, most things that do permanent physical damage aren’t as enjoyable as things that can eventually heal.
