Sure enough, when you look over to the bleachers you see a line up of exhausted looking mums, already on their phones. The woman you met last night is among them. Minjo. She's wearing skinny jeans and a long, loose shirt that does absolutely nothing to hide her collarbones. She sees you looking and waves, eyes crinkling at the corners and long, black hair falling around her face.

Minjo is a widow and mother of three children. One of them, Alek Jr, is the same age as your child. By taking your kid to activities, you'll be able to meet and interact with Minjo.

Minjo enjoys a good joke and a warm cup of tea. She doesn't know that you're a vampire.

Chris is your spouse. Or, at least, they were. The divorce has gone through and now you're divorced, but perhaps those feeling aren't quite as dead as Chris likes to pretend.

Lady Penrose is wearing tailored pants, polished leather shoes, and a matching black blazer… with nothing on underneath. Their lips are red, eyes framed with a thick eyeliner, and hair falling around their chin in short, rakish curls. There are rings on all of their fingers, sparkling with mismatched stones. They're talking to a group of gathered vampires, but at your approach they banish them with a wave of their hand and turn to face you. "Ah. The actor," they purrs "Do you have a monologue prepared for me? Something long, and villainous, perhaps?"

Ravima is the vampire Lady Penrose, one of the longest serving members of the Night Court. They rule over the city's entertainment district, a small but bloody domain. They don't bother policing it, preferring instead just to let the fledgling vampires and hunters duke it out.

Ravima is fascinated by all things artistic and has been known to turn creative people into vampires just so they can enjoy their work in centuries to come. However, they're also fickle. Their attention is easy to grab, but hard to keep.

Ravima is gender fluid and uses all pronouns but prefers she/they.

Erin is a romanceable character in my interactive game Thicker Than.

Note: She wears punk/grunge style clothes.

Skills: Public speaking, leadership, wall climbing, minor mind control, and pistol shooting.

Just then, the music cuts out. A chorus of boos transforms into cheers as a woman in torn cameo with severe, choppy black hair climbs up onto the bar. She's wearing a flower crown made out of dried lavender. A simple revolver hangs from the back of her belt. A chant starts at the back of the room. "Erin! Erin! Erin!" She holds up her hands, asking for silence. Slowly, reluctantly, the crowd complies. She waits until the room is totally silent before speaking.

Erin May has only been dead for a couple of decades, and yet she already has a following of fledglings; disorganised, wild, but eager to cut out a place for themselves in the city.

She isn't a fan of the undead elite and believes vampires should be free to hunt however they see fit, despite being adverse to killing herself.

It's all about freedom... no matter the cost.

It's the man you saw at court, the one that wore the dark suit and sat as far away from the Night King as possible. He looks totally different here. His stern, tailored suit is gone, replaced by a button down shirt, brown blazer, and a plaid peaked cap. He looks almost twee. "Lord Medici?" "Please. Call me Marcel." He sits beside you and smiles. The gesture looks so natural, so human, you could almost believe… if you didn't see the wickedly sharp hook of his canines.

Marcel is the vampire Lord Medici, a member of the Night Court. He rules over a small but prosperous domain that boarders with Blackwell's and is very interested in forming an alliance... of sorts.

Marcel has served on the Night Court for many years and is bored of playing things safe.

A lover of the finer things in life, Marcel can often be found enjoying music or art, and has been known to sponsor a variety of different creative works. He is a fencer and good at fighting with a blade, both in formal and informal settings. He can be charming when he wants to be. He can also be dangerous when he needs to be.

Marcel's vampiric powers manifest in control over the darkness, known to some as 'the path of the shadow'. He can teach these powers to a vampire eager to embrace the darkness as an ally.

You freeze, then turn slowly around to see a woman standing in the doorway. She has warm brown skin, long curly black hair, and large, kind eyes. "Hi," she says. You just stare. "I'm guessing your new," she says after a while. "I'm guessing you know what I am," you say back. She nods. "I get visited from time to time by vampires with more... ethical concerns. There's a gentleman in locker four that's getting a natural burial. You'll be able to feed a little bit from him."

Freya is a mortician who runs a small funeral home in the south side of the city. It's a quiet, cosy place, and one of the few that still feel safe for a young vampire to visit. She's also a witch, skilled in all areas of magic, but especially talented at necromancy.

Freya is a kind compassionate person who prefers deep conversations and quiet nights in over wild nights out. She drinks herbal tea and isn't immune to a good pun.

Freya has had many dealings with the undead of the city. She knows and does business with vampires from all walks of undead society. She has no wish to be one herself.

Freya is a Māori woman.
