I wonder if MC is ever bothered by her dad’s physical absence. Like they probably call a lot and stuff but I wonder if it still affects her (totally not me projecting btw🫠)

it’s definitely bothered her at one point, which will be revealed much later into the story. but honestly, i think it bothered mc’s dad more than it did her 😭

despite that man’s love for animals, his love for his only child is greaterrrrr (the exaggerated version of him would pick animals over her but obviously, this isn’t the exaggerated version of him 😭).

spoiler: in one of the filler chapters, there’s a father-daughter dance, so we get to navigate a little of what mc feels here

i might have to check this rq ‘cause i lowkey forgot (terrible author, i’m sorry 💀) but i think in elementary school, when megumi and y/n were making fun of that couple that were getting married on the school playground, she said smth about not minding if her dad doesn’t show up to her wedding ‘cause he’s not around much anyway…

there’s nothing to read below the surface there. she’s just in her own world and truly wouldn’t mind. she’s not aware that he absolutely would mind and would most likely, shamelessly, publicly cry if he missed his daughter’s wedding 🥴
