The war for independence is over and I feel I have to say something.

I started the war on the side of the revolution, the side that was my beginning, the side that first accepted me. L’Manberg.

Over the course of my time on the ASMP, I have found myself a family. Dragon, a full L’Manbergian citizen and child of its founder, had become like my ⊑⍜⍀⟒⊑, even going as far as to formally adopt me.

Dragon, however, was engaged to Crow, who had her own child, Connor. Connor and I, as I believed, were already acting like siblings so in my mind our family would be perfect. But Crow was the ruler of the Greater SMP itself, and blatantly opposed to L’Manberg existing as a nation on her soil.

And Connor and Crow never seemed to accept me as their future family member. ⊑⍜⍀⟒⊑ has said before quite a few times that he’d accept me mostly no matter what. So in order to get the rest of my future family to accept our familial roles, I had to take matters into my own hands.

I made the choice to secretly defect from L’Manberg, but stay as a sort of double agent. I needed to get Crow to be proud of me, to accept me, and when she should finally do that, I knew Connor would follow.

I’ve never wanted to choose sides. But today, I had to choose my family. And to do that, ⟟ had to do what I did.

I’m sorry to those I hurt along the way. But I’ve been made the reigning Monarch of the Greater SMP, and with L’Manberg no longer having the right to exist as a sovereign nation, hopefully this place will be a lot different tomorrow.
