I think the current zeitgeist vis a vis "liminal" spaces and the backrooms and "kidcore" horror et al is really just an expression of discomfort towards the aesthetics of things and places that are dated, ie the window of ugliness that exists between "contemporary" and "vintage" which is a natural revulsion that all generations experience... except the younger gen-zers and gen-alphas (much like boomers) struggle to distinguish between the feelings of discomfort and fear. To feel disgust is also to be in danger. It's all one and the same to them, and it makes things like drop ceilings and poor lighting and the general vibe of bland commercial spaces into something horrifying to them. It's all very silly.

Okay, you guys remember back in season one where it was theorized that someone else was working with Laurel besides Tyler? (To explain how she knows so much about Fran being a Hyde from Nevermore even though it was classified and making the connection that she is Tyler’s mother.)

When it was revealed that it was Judi behind everything. I immediately thought she was Laurel secret partner but here’s the thing, we have no hints or clues that they know each other. (You could argue that Judi kept her identity secret from Laurel.) Another thing to note is that Laurel hates Outcasts while Judi loves/obsess with Outcasts so I don’t know how they would make a partnership.

So who the hell told Laurel that Fran is a Hyde and she went to Nevermore and have a son back in Jericho?!
