Teach me how to interact ples.
You guys have to forgive me because I have such a potty mouth on my side blog, like damn.
I'm
In
TEARS!!!!
Every time I accidentally say "O-N-G" instead of "O-M-G" I feel like I'm saying "Oh no God" and honestly it can also work in this surprising situation I have found myself in.
Sup.
I'm kind of bummed right now because like many others I've lost my job to Covid19.
I'm a part time worker at a bowling alley and since large groups of people are a necessity to our business it is no surprise that we had to shut down as fast as we did. It was really, really odd going to work those last three days because I wasn't used to seeing our March Break foot traffic become our Summer Vacation kind; in which next to no one came in. This is obviously understandable because who wants to die to a mysterious virus that is virtually everywhere.
It's just I have a feeling that this closure is going to be so much longer than anticipated and not knowing when I'll be back to work is stressful, especially when I'm literally going to school in September and I intended to do nothing but work during my summer. I'm not sure my application for Employee Insurance will go through since I'm part time.
This isn't a post asking for any kind of support btw. This is me expressing how bummed I am. This is me who would usually like to be away from the sound of pins being bowled over and arcade machines harmonizing their screeching sound bites and kids taking hours to pick their last 10 ticket prize. However circumstances as they are I can't help but miss the normalcy. At least I had a routine with work.
Now I'm just laying in bed and waiting on instructions from the government.
Yay.
