Alvis, Post Aionios Design
There are 3 main things I wanted to achieve with this design
- One, incorporating all facets of Alvis/Alpha/A/Ontos in some way shape or form, even as far back as Wiinoblade Alvis
- Two, going for a more Androgynous, dare I say Agender, or NonbinAry design
- Three, including more reddish hues to imply a closer connection to Ontos who doesn't have a canon design yet
I'm very tempted to make Ontos and Logos designs, but if those're gonna be as complicated as Pneuma, those are gonna have to wait a while😭😭
Other details:
- Alvis has the bronze skin they deserve. Wiinoblade Alv1s had it, but DE Alv1s, A, and Alpha were either pale, or more of a light tan.
- The bangs are more Alv1s and the rest of the hair is more A. Instead of being a lot longer, it's only just a little bit over shoulder length. I also made it red-tinted because Ontos.
- By the way, that extra strand of hair in the middle is a Matthew reference :)
- The vest is just the top half of Alv1s's old jacket in XC1
- Their first undershirt blends some aspects of Alv1s and A, but I wanted to make it longer and more flowy. On the inside are the patterns seen on Alpha's wings
- The second undershirt is carried over from Alv1s
- The key references Wiinoblade Alv1s, with its placement on their left ear representing A. The green star on the opposite ear references their incorporeal light form at the end of XC1, and is somewhat representative of Alpha
- The pants are mainly based on A, but the boots are mainly Alv1s. Needless to say i wanted to simplify the legwear cus its hard to draw and it doesnt make sense how its worn tbh 😭😭
- I added some thin red lines on the shirt and boots to make it more Ontos-y
- In general I wanted sort of a sunset/dusk gradient going on with Alvis. That ideas thanks to FenixSeraph whos in the same server as me. Mythra and Pyra's newest outfits had daytime, and nighttime motifs. Going off that, itd make sense for Alvis to have dawn and dusk, and Malos possibly as dark stormy weather

I still plan to draw and write more things on this same canvas, like a few poses, a handful of expressions, and some character info.
