“So I live off frozen pizzas and those Stouffer lasagnas. What do you have that can beat those culinary masterpieces?” Settling into the couch as though it were her own place, Addison was not one who liked to make herself all that comfortable with people, but her guard wasn’t up 24/7. Even she got tired and even she needed a break. Granted, she also had already consumed a little bit of alcohol that maybe was making her a bit more open for the night. “I have very high standards when it comes to my frozen meals.”

There was no lack of familiar faces and he had practically grown up at these galas so he knew exactly how to behave with who. Most of the night was spent jumping from person to person, giving each just the right amount of time so they felt welcome. It also gave him a chance to survey everyone who was attending, learn a bit about everyone since for Spencer, knowledge was all the power. When he spotted his least favorite Moretti, it was only reasonable that he was going to bother her for a few minutes at least. “Glad to see you could make. How long is the nursing home letting you stay out tonight?”
