I can be quite neutral to Generative AI, as I believe it can do good and evil. Besides the medical usage, It's super useful as an accessibility tool.

The problem is that for some bizarre reason the tech companies keep trying to use AI in the wrong places. Microsoft keeps shoving Copilot down people's throats, whether they want it or not, yet their automatic Alt Text option in Word will seriously give me "A diagram of a process" like that's anything in a document with multiple diagrams.

One could give them a list of actual good uses for the technology that could make life better and they would be like "What if instead... AI could read a book for you so you look smart in front of others without the work? 🥴"
