Of course! I hope things look up for you soon.

Saturn is a difficult one. He can often be a bit distant and seem cold. He isn’t really, he just gets very wrapped up in things and has next to no patience. But if he catches on that this is serious, whether in a life impacting way or just to you for the moment, and he always catches on, he’s quick to shift gears. He sometimes struggles to express his affection in obvious ways, but damn if he won’t try.

Want to talk about it? Yes? Ok well, he’s pretty quick to establish, do you just want to vent, or do you want him to help you try to figure things out? Is this something you just need to rage/cry/emote about, or something you want to sit down and work through? Is it a purely personal issue or are other people involved? Do you need help understanding their side or just want to be upset with them? He never judges you regardless, but he wants to know what you need from him. Some of it he can pick up on his own from your behavior, but if he isn’t sure on your needs, he’s quick to ask. He doesn’t want to make things worse for you.

Don’t want to talk about it? That’s fine too. He absolutely understands internalizing things. Not wanting to rehash it over and over and over. Instead he’ll try to figure what you want instead. How best can he comfort you? Hot drink like cocoa or coffee? He has all the best drink machines, he is a latte snob after all. Pillow fort/blanket nest? He taught Mercury everything he knows. Cuddles, absolutely. Distractions? He’s got options from mindless movies to bad jokes to dragging you out to hang out with friends. His number one priority is always making sure you’re getting what you need. Because while he can seem cold, he does actually care. He loves deeply and powerfully, and he refuses to let you down.

And if its a problem he can help solve, and you accept his help, you can fully expect it to be dealt with quickly. While normally he likes to take his time, mull things over, find all the options, if its something affecting you, he’s quick to get it done and dealt with.

You tentatively make your way through the labs. You never liked bothering Saturn when he was working. While you know he’s always willing to make time for you, it still felt off somehow to interrupt him.

Stopping near his workspace, you shuffle a bit in place. While you instinctively try to make yourself smaller you can’t help fidgeting. Part of you is screaming silently for him, and part of you hopes you can escape unnoticed. But a moment too long and the decision is made for you.

“what did you need little moon?” he turns and looks at you. Taking in your demeanor his own quickly shifts, from his generally neutral unaffected appearance to a shrewd concern, “did something happen?”

“It’s um. It’s nothing. I just,” you pause, still not entirely committed to taking up his time, “I just had a bad day is all.”

“anything i can do specifically?”

“Not really? I don’t. I don’t know,” your uncertainty doesn’t go unnoticed, and once again the choice is out of your hands for the moment.

“i see. well let’s see if we can’t make it a little better then.”

He quickly gets everything shut off and stored away, movements efficient, he’s rushing but not un-careful. You always liked that about him, how he was so mindful of everything. Including you. Especially you.

“if you decide you want to be left alone, tell me alright?”

“Mmm,” you hum absently, you know he’s never minded letting you have your space. Your lips twitch slightly at the thought and you know he noticed the unspoken pun too, by the quickly passing amusement in his eyelights. He always could read you.

He leads you back into the living spaces, tucked not to far from the non-explosive labs. Getting you settled into the “nest” in the corner, giving a good view of the full living space, he heads off to the connected kitchen. It only takes a few minutes for your drinks to be ready, but he still makes sure to glance your way often.

Passing you drink to you, he settles in at your side, close but not too close. He always gives you options, if you need your space or want to close the gap. If you want to vent or just take comfort in the silence. And you do take comfort, knowing, that whatever you need, he’s right there beside you for it. Always.
