Wandering around Anime Central's manga library, I started thinking of the anime ReLife for no particular reason, and had the sudden feeling that I sometimes get more nostalgic for anime high school than I do for my own actual high school experience.

Further evidence that I am Anime Trash.

Just recently got done with the Final Fantasy concert, "A New World" at A-Cen. Somehow, between all the thrash metal arrangements of One-Winged Angel and J-E-N-O-V-A, I'd forgotten how much beautiful, amazing music exists in this series. I guess I'd just stopped thinking about it somehow. But somewhere between the guitar solo performance of Troia and the orchestra's rendition of Home Sweet Home, I was happily reminded.

I also got to hear a slide-whistle solo (evoking chocobo sounds), so that was awesome.

Hey! Thanks to everyone who came to see me at Sakura-con, A-Cen, and Anime North this year!

Sorry I couldn’t say thanks after each con, but matters cropped up and everything went downhill from there. I only got the chance to now, so, thank you!

It was totally awesome meeting my old customers and getting to meet new ones :D Thanks for buying from me (again) or really just stopping by to say hi~ I can’t forget all the new artists I met either~ it was fun standing beside you guys for 3 days, and thanks for all the help you gave me (especially the ones at A-Cen when I decided to splice my thumb open, and the ones at Anime North when our displays needed to be merged together into some 4 table monstrosity to stay up...)! And for art trading, haha~

My next con is Anime Expo in July, followed by San-Japan and Otakuthon! Hope to see you all there~ New products be coming!

I think instead of a quickly thrown together Gundam cos, I'll do something a little simpler and more at my level of crafting skills. 

I'm planning on cosplaying Noiz from the DRAMAtical Murder game. This should be fun. I'll ask one of my friends to knit the hat for me--they're getting pretty good at kniting.

Then the rest of it is up to me.
