shit had hit the fan and he was literally rock bottom for the second time in a row , he’s in his bedroom ; looking out the balcony . a perfect view of the ocean as he hears the door to his room open . turning around he sees the cherubic femme, smiling as he looked at her placing the cup down and filling it up once again to the rim ❝  what a pleasant surprise to see you here . ❞  he says walking inside as he looks at aeva , sitting at the edge of his bed ❝  you look gorgeous as always .  ❞  he muses towards her .

he had been on his morning jog and decided to pass by the daily dose , turning off the music he takes out the AirPods from his ears and lanced them in the small container as he goes to reach for a bottle of water when he bumps into someone , turning around he sees her face. he hadn’t seen her in a while. not since his father had told him that he needed to leave her behind due to her status &. sadly he had listened . ❝  aeva——- hey , preciosa ( translation ; gorgeous ) . ❞

Carmen buried herself in work to avoid having to deal with whatever was about to happen. She enjoyed working, becoming a lawyer was almost fun. Mostly because she got to avoid her ex-husband a lot when she did 90 hour work weeks. Those were the days. The most recent case she had been assigned to involved the Pearl Room, kind of. If Carmen hadn’t been a lawyer, she would’ve been a detective– 100%. Her curiosity got the better of her and as she disguised herself to enter the premises, a devious smirk remained on her face. She most definitely shouldn’t have been doing this but it was exhilarating. And the farther from her shared home was better for her. She flipped her new pink wig, liking the color a little too much. Maybe she would need to really switch it up. Glossing over the report, she shoved it into the glove box and entered the infamous premises. Her eyes immediately scanning the dimly lit brothel. She walked towards the brunette, tapping on her shoulder. “Hi there. I’m interested in learning more about it here,” she motioned the building. “Could you help me?” Carmen inquired.

maybe this wasn’t the smartest thing to do, he had to keep a close eye on the gem that was amalia scordato but he also wasn’t in his right mind seeing aeva with someone else. after the marvelous day that they had spent together, it was obvious that there was something there and having the talk with ness, it did clear things up for him. he’s leaning on the black suv as he sees the brunette from a distance, the usual warm feeling within him coercing through his person. ❝ thought you lost  a shoe in the grass or something. ❞  the teasing tone always round her , his hand automatically cups her face ❝ you look gorgeous. ❞

his coat is off &. there is a few buttons that are unbuttoned at the top of his shirt, you can see the golden medallion around his neck ( one that was given to the first born male of each family ) and there are a few dance partners that have been thrown at him. finishing the dance he excuses himself and makes his way to the bar ❝ the usual. ❞ turning to see the brunette, he lets a small smile taint his features and after they’re last encounter things seemed ( at least he wished they did ) to be doing better. ❝ nice to see you again . ❞  he says looking at aeva, the same small smile on his lips. ❝ you look beautiful. ❞
