arthur was never quite sure if he liked gabriel. the media certainly liked to pin them next to each other – two cold, strange princes they didn’t quite understand. but gabe wasn’t like arthur, nor arthur like him, and so he was content to simply watch from the sidelines for the better part of the event. sooner than later, though, they were going to have to interact.
“your highness,” arthur greeted with as much formality and as little stiffness as he could muster. “it’s so strange to see you without my cousin by your side.”
